The position is supported by a research grant from NIH that aims to understand how the brain adapts to central vision loss. The research will use a combination of techniques — eye movement measurements, visual psychophysics, visual optics, high-resolution retinal imaging and computational modeling — to study our research questions.</span><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Helvetica;"><o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in; font-size: medium; font-family: Palatino; caret-color: rgb(0, 0, 0); color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><br></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in; font-size: medium; font-family: Palatino; caret-color: rgb(0, 0, 0); color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">The position is ideal for a young scientist who would like to apply his/her knowledge and skills to answer critical research questions that impact the functional vision and quality of life of low vision patients.
