by the <b>University of Cassino and Southern Lazio</b><br>

The <b>eleventh edition </b>of the i-Cities conference continues its tradition of integrating key
<b>ICT technologies </b>within a multidisciplinary approach to <b>Smart Cities </b>
and <b>Communities</b>. The conference aims to bring together <b>academia</b>, <b>
industry</b>, and <b>public institutions </b>to share and discuss research advances, innovative solutions, and real-world applications addressing urban challenges. It provides a
<b>platform </b>to foster collaborations, exchange ideas, and explore opportunities for new projects at the national and international levels.<br>
Authors are invited to submit work demonstrating practical implementations, advancing theoretical foundations, or exploring new methodologies.<br>
This year, the conference emphasizes <b>academic research </b>contributions that will be discussed in
<b>scientific workshops </b>hosted by the conference.<br>
Therefore, authors can submit extended abstracts related to either <b>scientific contributions</b>, which will be extended to become full papers, or preliminary works, which will only be presented through short pitches.</div>
<div style="direction: ltr; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">A dedicated <b>€2000 funding</b> has been secured to support the
<b>challenge</b> that will take place during the <b>I-Cities</b> event.</div>
<div style="direction: ltr; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">The 2025 edition will include a special session focused on the
<b>laboratory¡¯s areas of expertise</b>. This session will feature the presentation of a
<b>catalog</b> describing all research and development activities carried out within the lab, prepared by a group of young researchers and PhD students.</div>
