<p class="" style="white-space: pre-wrap;"><span style="font-size: 14px;" class="">One fully funded 3-year PhD position in Cognitive Computational Neuroscience is available in the lab of Dr. Rademaker – located at the Ernst Strüngmann Institute in Frankfurt,
Germany (<a href="http://www.rademakerlab.org" class="">www.rademakerlab.org</a>).</span></p>
<div class=""><b class="" style="white-space: pre-wrap;">We study: </b><span class="" style="white-space: pre-wrap;">How the interplay between sensation and cognition gives rise to the rich experience that is human perception. Current work investigates how
images briefly held in mind (in ‘visual working memory') can be remembered in a robust manner. For example, when you’re perceiving the surrounding world while simultaneously holding an image in mind - how can your brain best represent both percept and the
memory? Besides working memory, the lab is broadly interested in topics that intersect</span> perception, cognition, and action in the brain.</div>

</span><em class="" style="white-space: pre-wrap;">do</em><span class="" style="white-space: pre-wrap;"> require an affinity for computational methods (e.g., considerable programming experience), critical thinking, and an eye for detail.
