
<html><head><meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=us-ascii"></head><body style="overflow-wrap: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; line-break: after-white-space;">Dear colleagues,<br><br>We are excited to announce Vision and Depiction II, which will take place at Delft University of Technology from 4 to 6 February 2026. Vision and Depiction celebrates form (in the broadest sense, including light, color, space, etc) as interface between (pictorial) art and (vision) science. It is a conference about how form is depicted and how form is perceived. But we are also interested in the many connections that form has with the content and context of pictures. Thirdly, it is a conference about the interaction between the physical medium of pictures, and the mental presentations it gives rise to, i.e. about the relation between medium and motif.<br><br>In the next months we will announce more detailed information about invited speakers, conferences fees, and how to submit your abstract. For now, we mainly wanted to announce that it is going to happen so you can already save the dates, and prepare your abstract. If you have any questions or suggestions, please reach out to me. <br><br>Abstract submission opens: 15 October 2025<br>Abstract submission closes: 15 November 2025<br>Notification of Acceptance: 30 November 2025<br>Early bird registration: 15 December 2025<br>Conference: 4-6 February 2026<br><br>More info (including the archived 2024 edition): <a href="https://visionanddepiction.github.io/">https://visionanddepiction.github.io/</a><br><br>Sincerely,<br>Maarten Wijntjes</body></html>
