The Max Planck Institutes for Biological Cybernetics and Intelligent Systems, together with the AI Center in Tübingen, Germany, are offering up to 12 paid, three-month internships during the summer of 2026 for Bachelor’s and Master’s students. Successful applicants will collaborate with leading scientists on cutting-edge research projects spanning machine learning, electrical engineering, theoretical neuroscience, behavioral experiments, robotics, and data analysis. The CaCTüS Internship program is designed to support young researchers facing personal, financial, regional, or societal barriers, helping them build their scientific careers and gain access to world-class education and facilities. Our program is committed to fostering inclusion, diversity, equity, and access. We especially encourage applications from students residing in low- and middle-income countries, which remain underrepresented within the Max Planck Society’s research community.</span><span
