<p class="MsoNormal">We are excited to share further information and key dates for the 2026 joint meeting of the <b>Australasian Society for Experimental Psychology (EPC)</b> and the <b>Asia Pacific Conference on Vision (APCV)</b>, which will take place from <b>1-4
July at the University of Auckland, New Zealand</b>. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><b>APCV keynote:</b> We are thrilled to announce that <b>Professor Hakwan Lau</b> will be delivering the APCV keynote address. Hakwan Lau is co-director of the Centre for Neuroscience Imaging Research at Sungkyunkwan University, South Korea,
and one of the world's leading researchers on consciousness, attention, and metacognition.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><b>Symposia, Satellite Events, and Workshops - proposals open now: </b>We would like to warmly invite proposals for member-initiated symposia, satellite events, and workshops. Satellite events and workshops will take place on the the first
day of the conference (1st July), and are flexible in their duration, format, and number of speakers. Symposia will be scheduled alongside talk streams throughout the conference and will have a 90 minute duration, generally consisting of 3-4 speakers and a
discussant. If you plan on a submission, please keep in mind the diversity of your panel in terms of career stages, gender and University affiliations. Submissions are open now, via the conference website, and close 31st January 2026. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><b>Student travel awards: </b>To enable PhD, Masters, and Honours students to attend the meeting, we are happy to offer up to 40 student travel support awards of 500AUD. Awards will be given on the basis of need, and can be applied for
as part of the process of submitting a Talk or Poster Abstract (open now). <b>Applications for student travel awards close 27th February 2026</b>, so students wishing to apply for an award must submit their abstract by then.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><b>General abstract submissions - open now:</b> Abstract submissions are open now, via the conference website, and will be <b>accepted on a rolling basis until 30th April 2026</b>. Allocations to Talk or Poster sessions will be made after
submissions close. Please note that <b>you need to register and pay for the conference by 15th May 2026 to present</b>.<o:p></o:p></p>
