<div dir="ltr"><div><br clear="all"></div><div><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 8pt;line-height:115%"><font face="arial, sans-serif" style="">A postdoctoral position is available in the <i style="">CrossToPlasticity</i>
project at the University of Coimbra, funded by the Portuguese Science
Foundation (FCT). The project examines how the auditory cortex reorganizes in
congenital deafness, focusing on cross-modal visual responses and large-scale
cortical organization using advanced fMRI and behavioral methods.</font></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 8pt;line-height:115%"><font face="arial, sans-serif">The position involves:</font></p>

<ul style="margin-top:0in;margin-bottom:0in" type="disc">
 <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 8pt;line-height:115%"><font face="arial, sans-serif">developing
     and running fMRI and behavioral experiments </font><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif">with deaf and hearing participants</span></li>
 <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 8pt;line-height:115%"><font face="arial, sans-serif">analysis
     of functional imaging data (including receptive field and topographic
     mapping approaches)</font></li>
 <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 8pt;line-height:115%"><font face="arial, sans-serif">contributing
     to scientific outputs and project planning within a collaborative research
     team</font></li>
</ul>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 8pt;line-height:115%"><font face="arial, sans-serif">The work will be carried out at the Faculty of Psychology
and Educational Sciences, with full access to imaging and behavioral facilities
associated with the Proaction Lab and collaborating groups. The position is
available immediately, and the exact start date can be adjusted to the selected
candidate’s availability.</font></p>

     in Psychology, Cognitive Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, or related
     areas</font></li>

     experience in fMRI design, acquisition, and analysis</font></li>
 <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 8pt;line-height:115%"><font face="arial, sans-serif">Programming
     skills (Python, Matlab, or R)</font></li>
 <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 8pt;line-height:115%"><font face="arial, sans-serif">Strong
     communication and scientific writing skills</font></li>
 <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 8pt;line-height:115%"><font face="arial, sans-serif">Ability
