<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0cm"><font face="tahoma, sans-serif">The research project investigates
the object dimensions and organisational principles shaping human object
vision. By combining behavioural and neural experiments with computational
modelling, the project aims to develop brain-optimised deep neural networks that
more accurately capture human visual perception.</font></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0cm"><font face="tahoma, sans-serif"><br></font></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0cm"><font face="tahoma, sans-serif">The successful candidate should
have a background in cognitive neuroscience, psychology, computer science, or a
related field, with a strong interest in human vision and/or deep learning
models of perception<span class="gmail_default" style="font-family:tahoma,sans-serif"> and have</span> <span class="gmail_default" style="font-family:tahoma,sans-serif">e</span>xperience with behavioural experiments, neuroimaging
(fMRI/EEG/MEG), or <span class="gmail_default" style="font-family:tahoma,sans-serif">deep learning</span><span class="gmail_default" style="font-family:tahoma,sans-serif">.</span></font></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0cm"><font face="tahoma, sans-serif"><br></font></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0cm"><font face="tahoma, sans-serif">The
