The goal of Mentoring Envisioned is to develop a community that supports near-peer mentoring at VSS and beyond. Near-peer mentoring refers to relationships built within and across trainees of varying levels of experience (e.g., graduate students mentoring undergraduate
students; advanced graduate students mentoring early graduate students; postdocs mentoring advanced graduate students; early faculty mentoring postdocs etc.). Anyone has potential to fill a role as a mentor for community members junior to them, and to be a
