(DIO). This year the conference will be held October 26-27, 2026 (with arrivals on Sunday, October 25<sup>th</sup>) at the Atheneum Hotel in Detroit, Michigan. </span></p>

<span style="font-family: Aptos; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Traditionally, over the past 20 -25 years this biennial conference has had a broad focus on research evaluating the impact of vision and/or cognition and other brain issues on driving performance
and safety.</span></p>

<span style="font-family: Aptos; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><b>However, this year we are focusing on naturalistic driving as a methodology to study a broad array of driving issues. Naturalistic driving is a technology that uses instrumentation fit
to a driver’s vehicle or a test vehicle to examine driver behaviors under the real-world conditions of everyday driving. </b></span></p>
