[visionlist] Call for abstracts for the Christmas meeting of the Applied Vision Association (AVA)

We are pleased to announce the call for abstracts for the 24th Christmas meeting of the Applied Vision Association, which will be held at Cardiff University on Monday, 16th December 2019.

The AVA is the only organisation in the UK devoted to the support and dissemination of vision research. Our current members come from varied backgrounds but have a shared interest in visual perception and its practical applications. Our charter is to promote all areas of vision research from cell biology and neuroscience to clinical trials, through our regular meetings.

We are very pleased to have two outstanding keynote speakers:

Dr Szonya Durant. Senior Lecturer, Department of Psychology, Royal Holloway, University of London
and
Professor Peter Bex. Department of Psychology, Northeastern University, Boston, MA USA
