Dear Colleagues,

The IJCB 2020 organizing committee is continuously monitoring the
COVID-19 situation and is aware that the pandemic affects everyone's
research activities. To give researchers enough time to prepare
high-quality submissions for IJCB 2020, we have decided to extend the
second submission deadline to June 8th, 2020. The updated deadline
applies to new submissions as well as papers that received a revision
decision in the first round.

Detailed information on the deadline extension is available from the
IJCB website: https://ieee-biometrics.org/ijcb2020/

We are aware that receiving timely feedback on submissions is paramount
for authors and that many have already submitted their work in the
second IJCB submission round. We will, therefore, make sure that any
papers submitted to CMT by the initial April 6th deadline will be
reviewed in time for announcing the decision on June 9, 2020 (or earlier).

Please note that the IJCB 2020 organizing committee will ensure that the
authors of accepted papers will be able to present their work and that
the proceedings will be published as planned.

Do not hesitate to contact us in case you have any questions.

With kind regards,

IJCB 2020 General and Program Chairs
