Applications are invited for a fully funded Post-doc position at the ETS,
Montreal, Canada. ETS is the fastest-growing and largest engineering school
in Quebec, with an expanding team of highly qualified young researchers in
image analysis, computer vision and deep learning, some of the priority
areas of the school.

This project will explore novel learning strategies for neonatal brain
image segmentation. Particularly, this project will investigate, among
others, multi-modal learning, semi-supervised learning (without and with
domain shift) and weakly supervised learning. We are looking for a
highly-motivated, independent, and skilled researcher with a Ph.D. degree
and related experience in computer vision and deep learning with a strong
interest in medical image analysis. A background and strong track record of
peer-reviewed conference/journal publications in medical image analysis
(IEEE TMI, MedIA, Neuroimaging, MICCAI, IPMI) or computer vision (CVPR,
ECCV, ICCV) is required.

The position is available from September 2020 and it offers very
competitive financial support for 2 years. The successful candidate will
work under the supervision of Prof. Jose Dolz. Furthermore, the selected
post-doc fellow is expected to work in close collaboration with pediatric
clinicians (CHE Ste Justine, Montreal) and publish her/his research on top
medical image computing journals (MedIA, IEEE TMI) and conferences (MICCAI,
IPMI, etc). In addition, s/he will have the freedom to coordinate this
project and supervise several PhD and MSc students.

Requirements:

   -

A PhD in Medical Image Analysis, Computer Vision, Machine Learning or
closely related areas with a first degree in Engineering, Computer Science
   or a related discipline.
   -

Strong track record of publications in relevant computer vision and
medical image analysis journals and conferences.
   -

Expertise in programming with deep learning libraries (Tensorflow or
   pytorch)
   -

   Good communication skills in English
   -

Strong ability to work independently and as a part of a bigger team.

For consideration, please send a CV, a cover letter, names and contact
