UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON, SEATTLE

A fully-funded postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr.
Anitha Pasupathy at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA. The
laboratory studies the cortical processing of visual form and is part of
the Dept. of Biological Structure and the Washington National Primate
Research Center (WaNPRC).

The postdoctoral candidate will lead a project on the neuronal basis of
object recognition with cutting edge methods. The ideal candidate would be
someone with relevant experience in primate neurophysiology who wants to
hit the ground running. The laboratory is one of several highly collegial
and interactive groups in the WaNPRC and the Computational Neuroscience
Center at the UW. Candidates with a Ph.D. in the Biological Sciences or
Engineering, an excellent research record are encouraged to apply. A strong
background in relevant quantitative data analysis and modeling, and/or a
strong background in mid-to-high level visual perception would be a plus.
Please send applications (short letter of interest, CV and the names and
contact information of two referees), or request for additional
information, to: pasupat at u.washington.edu.
