Call for Participation: TRECVID ActEV 2021 leaderboard evaluation
The TRECVID ActEV 2021 (https://actev.nist.gov/trecvid21) leaderboard is now open.
The ActEV evaluation is being conducted to assess the robustness of automatic activity detection for a multi-camera streaming video environment. The evaluation is based on the VIRAT V1 and V2 dataset. You can download the public VIDEO dataset for free at viratdata.org; and more info about the datasets is on the "data tab" of the actev.nist.gov/trecvid21 website. The evaluation is based on 35 activities from the activities listed in the "activities tab". The dataset and activities are the same as for TRECVID ActEV 2020.
TRECVID ActEV 2021 Evaluation Schedule:
* February 07, 2021: NIST releases ActEV evaluation plan and defines the target Activities ( Same as for 2020 Eval)
* February 07, 2021 NIST releases ActEV JSON training and validation sets and the Index files ( Same as for 2020 Eval)
* March 21, 2021: Start of ActEV 2021 Leaderboard Evaluation
* September 20, 2021: 1:00 PM EST : End of ActEV 2021 Leaderboard Evaluation
