[visionlist] Deadline 9/15: serve on the OSA Fall Vision Planning Committee

Hello vision community! This is a reminder that we are seeking nominations
for open positions in the OSA Fall Vision Meeting Planning Committee.

The committee consists of eleven members: Division Chair, Planning Chair,
Planning Chair-Elect, and Chairs and Chairs-Elect in each of four topic
areas: Color, Vision, Clinical Vision Sciences, and Applications of Visual
Science. This year the following positions will have openings:

Planning Chair-Elect
Chair-Elect for Color
Chair-Elect for Applications of Visual Science

The term for chair-elect is 2 years with the expectation that the
chair-elect will move into the chair position of his/her group for another
2 years, so a total commitment of 4 years, requiring a few hours of work
each month, on average.

The current OSA Fall Vision Meeting Planning Committee is listed below.

Normally, voting for the OSA Fall Vision Meeting Planning Committee would
occur during the business meeting of the OSA Fall Vision Meeting. This year
the OSA Fall Vision Meeting is moving to a remote/virtual format, and
discussion and voting will be conducted virtually as well.

If you would like to put your name forward for consideration, please send a
brief (1-2 page) CV or NIH-style Biosketch to Stacey Choi at
choi.1080 at osu.edu by 15 Sept 2021.
