Postdoctoral and Ph.D. Positions Available at The Visual Attention and Cognition in Special Populations Lab at The University of Haifa, Israel

Full-time postdoctoral and Ph.D. positions are currently available at the Visual Attention and Cognition Lab of Dr. Amit Yashar at The University of Haifa. The postdoc position will be an initial appointment for one year, with the option to renew annually for 3-4 years. The Ph.D. position is a four-year assignment.
The lab’s main research focus is the link between cognitive capacities (e.g., attention and learning) and visual perception. A significant focus is given to investigating applications of the lab’s research for special populations, such as those with autism, visual impairments, learning disabilities, and other developmental disorders. 
The positions involve conducting research using psychophysical and computational methods on behavioral and eye-tracking data. Applicants must hold a degree in a related field such as psychology, computer science, neuroscience, or vision science.
