Invitation to participate to the ICME'17 Salient360! Grand Challenge

University of Nantes and Technicolor are jointly organizing a Salient360! Grand Challenge at the upcoming ICME in Hong-Kong on July 11, 2017. The goal of this grand challenge is to set up a baseline for Saliency prediction model or omnidirectional image visualization in HMD. As there is no SoA for such scenario, any preliminary proposal would be good to report.



The Full Test Dataset (20+40 ground truth images, 40+ observers), including head motion + eye gaze tracking in HMD,  will be available early next week, some test vectors are already available to test the evaluation framework (on demand at salient360 at univ-nantes.fr<mailto:salient360 at univ-nantes.fr>, with name and affiliation, as well as indications on your participation).
