Applications are open for a two and a half years (30 months) post-doctoral
position to work on stress and metacognition, starting between September
and December 2017.

A post-doctoral position is opened for a research project on stress and
metacognition, with both fundamental and applied dimensions. We shall study
how stress impacts decision making at the metacognitive level, principally
in the context of multi-tasking. We shall perform behavioral experiments
with physiological measures. During the first 15 months the work will be
based in Paris at the Départment of Cognitive Science (École Normale
Supérieure) and at the Maison des Sciences Économiques. The second part of
the position (15 months) will be based in Salon-de-Provence at the ONERA,
the French national aerospace research center. Basic knowledge of French
is required.

Applicants must have a PhD and publications in Experimental Psychology,
Experimental Economics, Cognitive Neuroscience or a related field. Solid
programming and data analysis skills are essential (python, R or
equivalent), along with writing and social skills. Experience with
physiological recordings and measures (salivary cortisol) would be a plus.

To apply please contact Jérôme Sackur (jerome.sackur at gmail.com), Vincent
de Gardelle (vincent.gardelle at gmail.com) and Bruno Berberian
(bruno.berberian at onera.fr) with a CV, a statement of research interests,
and contact details of at least 2 references. Applications will be reviewed
until the position is filled.
