[visionlist] $100,000 award for glaucoma research

The ARVO Foundation for Eye Research is accepting applications for the Dr. David L. Epstein Award.
Dr. Epstein, who passed away in March 2014, is widely considered to be one of the most influential leaders in the world of glaucoma and glaucoma research over the past 30 years. This award honors his commitment to the scientific understanding and treatment of glaucoma and will support promising clinician-scientists in furthering Dr. Epstein's investigation into solving the complex issues of glaucoma through well-conceived and executed scientific research focused on finding the causes and new treatments for the disease.
The Dr. David L.
