Dear Colleagues,

We

are organising the Deep Learning for Visual Computing
Winter
 School 2017 (DLVC 2017
 WS
) during
19-23 December 2017

coordinated by the Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian
Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India
at the
ITER Siksha 'O' Anusandhan University, Bhubaneswar, India
. This event provides you with a unique opportunity to learn about the
basics of deep learning for visual computing applications from
practicing experts through
19
 lectures and 1
2
hands-on tutorials. Also you stand the chance to win exciting prizes
to accelerate your deep learning experience by participating in the
DLVC 2017
 WS
Challenge on the last day of the program.

Topics to be covered include:

* Deep learning with neural networks

* Autoencoders

* Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN, LeNet, AlexNet, VGGNet, GoogLeNet)

* Residual connections in very deep networks (ResNets, DenseNets)

* Hardware acceleration of deep learning

* Transfer learning of Deep Networks

* Hand-on Tutorial on Intel Xeon Phi based HPC with
Py
Torch and Python2

This is brought at affordable registration rates with support from
ITER-SOA University and
Intel. Details for the program and registration at:
http://www.ee.iitkgp.ac.in/ispschool/

We encourage strong participation and deadline for the
limited number of
discounted rates early bird is
