Call for Symposia


The ECVP 2018 Organising Committee is now soliciting proposals for symposia
(https://www.ecvp2018.org). Symposia will include 4-6 speakers and be one
hour and a half in length. Please note that all symposium speakers and
symposium organisers will be required to register to the Conference.



The deadline for symposia proposal is November 30th, 2017. Proposals will
be evaluated by the Organising Committee, with final decisions made by
January 15th 2018.



Please be aware that the Organising Committee may suggest revisions.

Symposia proposals addressing overlapping subjects may be requested to
fuse.



Symposium Proponents should not make commitments to speakers regarding
financial support.



Symposium organisers will be in charge of evaluating the abstracts
submitted to their symposium.



We encourage symposium organisers to be attentive to gender balance and to
favour the inclusion of researchers at various stages of their career.



Symposium organisers will play a key role in the scientific quality of the
meeting: we warmly thank you in advance for your enthusiastic proposals and
your commitment to the success of ECVP 2018.



Please submit the proposal using the Symposium Proposal Form (
https://www.ecvp2018.org) , in which you will be asked to include the
following information:



1) The name, affiliation and e-mail address of the symposium proponent.



2) The  proposed symposium title.



3) A list of the proposed speakers. Organisers can take part in their own
symposium.



4) A short (250 words) description of the symposium.
