The Mazer Lab at Montana State University in Bozeman, MT (
http://kernel.montana.edu) has multiple funded openings for talented and
motivated graduate students and postdocs to study the neural
representations of complex visual stimuli and/or visual attention in
non-human primates.

Candidates with neurophysiology experience and/or computational skills are
preferred (MATLAB, Python).

This project will be a collaboration with Charlie Gray's lab and use
high-density, movable chronic electrode arrays to investigate neural coding
and attentional modulation in early and intermediate visual areas (V1, V4
and LIP). These studies are part of a new NSF EPSCoR grant (
https://www.attentioninthebrain.com) involving 12 labs at Dartmouth, Brown,
the University of Nevada, Reno, as well as Montana State. Students and
postdocs at MSU will have opportunities work with and visit investigators
at collaborating institutions.

Interested applicants should send me their CV (james.mazer at montana.edu). I
will be available at SFN (11/11-11/4) to meet as well.

Thanks,
Jamie
