Following the successful previous editions of ICISP, the Université de Caen Normandie will organize the next ICISP event in Cherbourg, Normandy, France. ICISP aims to provide researchers and practitioners from academia and industry with 

a forum on the last developments in image and signal processing, multimedia and computer vision. The conference will also provide a unique opportunity for sharing experiences from different backgrounds with the common interest in 

advanced in the above-mentioned fields. The scientific program of ICISP 2018 will include presentation of invited plenary talks, special sessions as well as posters and regular sessions with contributed research papers.

Paper submission: 

Prospective authors are invited to submit papers of not more than eight (8) pages including results, figures and references. Papers will be accepted only by electronic submission at Eeasychair Platform (https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=icisp2018) 




The conference proceedings with final versions of the accepted papers will be published by Springer in their series Lecture Notes in Computer Science are listed in the ISI proceedings index. 







Scope and Topics 


The International Conference on Image and Signal Processing (ICISP) aims to provide researchers and practitioners from academia and industry with a forum to report on the latest developments in image and signal processing, multimedia, mathematical imaging and vision and computer graphics. ICISP 2018, the 8 th in the series that has been held since 2001, will bring together leading engineers and scientists in image, signal and video processing from around the world. Topics include, but are not limited to: 

    * • Image and video processing and analysis : image filtering, restoration and enhancement, image segmentation, video segmentation and tracking, morphological processing, feature processing, extraction and analysis, interpolation and super-resolution, Saliency computing, Super-pixel based processing, Image and Video Coding and Compression, Multimodal and Multi-sensor Models 
    * • Signal Processing: spectral analysis, time-frequency and time-scale representation, statistical signal processing, filtering, detection and estimation, nonlinear signal, radar, antennas, telecommunications systems, acoustics. 
    * • Computer vision: Algorithms, Feature extraction and pattern recognition, ML and Deep learning in vision, CBIR, Object and Face Recognition, Object detection and Localization, 3D Object Extraction, Tracking and Visual Navigation, etc. 
    * • Mathematical Imaging and Vision: filters theory, imaging algebra, mathematical morphology, probabilistic, statistical, optimization, approximation theory, models in imaging science. 
    * • Applications: Biometric and Biomedical imaging, Security and Video-surveillance, Quality control and inspection, archeology, remote sensing, other applications. 
    * • Special sessions and workshops: • Digital cultural heritage, Graph signal processing.

MCS2018: 

Further to the successful collaboration between ICISP and the International Symposium on Multispectral Colour Science will be organized once again as part of ICISP 2018.
