Postdoctoral Fellow in High Resolution Retinal Imaging

A postdoctoral fellow position is available starting January 1st 2018 in the laboratory of Drs. Nathan Doble / Stacey Choi in the College of Optometry at The Ohio State University, Columbus, OH. The successful candidate will work within a highly collaborative research environment (both at the College and also in the Department of Ophthalmology at OSU) focused on the development and use of high resolution adaptive optics instrumentation for the study of retinal structure and function.

We are interested in candidates with biomedical / optics / electrical engineering expertise. A background in the application of adaptive optics and / or optical coherence tomography would be particularly advantageous.
We seek an exceptionally talented and motivated candidate at the PhD level. A high degree of proficiency in programming (e.g. Matlab, LabView, C++ or equivalent) is required. Good communication and writing skills are essential coupled with a good balance of independence and collegiality in research.
