Postdoc position at the Multisensory Integration and Perception Lab, UC San Diego

A postdoctoral position is available at the Multisensory Integration and Perception Lab with Dr. Viola Störmer (http://stoermerlab.ucsd.edu/) at UC San Diego. Initial appointment is for one year with the opportunity for renewal. Preferred starting date is early summer 2018, but this can be flexible.

The broad aim of the lab’s research is to understand the cognitive and neural mechanisms of human perception, selective attention and multisensory processing. We use a variety of methods, including psychophysics, eye-tracking, EEG, and computational modeling.

We are seeking highly qualified individuals with a doctorate in a relevant field (Psychology, Cognitive Science, Neuroscience, …), strong quantitate and technical skills, and shared interests in the core research areas described above. Experience with EEG and/or computational modeling is desirable. Proficiency in programming is necessary (e.g., Matlab, Python, R).
