[visionlist] PhD Positions in Dartmouth-Montana State Univ. joint program to study Visual Attention

PhD positions are available for students interested in interdisciplinary
research in the area of visual attention. Students will be able to work
with neuroscience faculty at Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH and Montana
State University (MSU) in Bozeman, MT on a collaborative project
<http://attentioninthebrain.com/> funded by a multi-site (Dartmouth, Brown,
Montana State and the University of Nevada at Reno) NSF EPSCoR award to
study the neural bases of visual attention. Participating students will
receive training at both Dartmouth and MSU and have apple opportunity to
travel to other participating universities for additional training and/or
scientific collaboration. Successful students will receive a MS in
Neuroscience from MSU and a PhD in from Dartmouth.

Applicants should have training in neuroscience, cognitive science,
computer science/math or a related field. Prior research experience and
computer skills (Python and/or Matlab) are preferred.
