Future Media Laboratory in Graduate School at Shenzhen, Tsinghua University, led by Prof. Jin has 2-year fully funded Postdoc openings in optical design and optimization, computational photography and signal processing.

 

About the Lab:

Future Media Laboratory led by Prof. Jin researches on computational photography and ultra-low power signal processing, especially in light field acquisition and processing, imaging systems and theories, and novel imaging applications like scattering imaging, brain imaging, etc. We have achieved several awards like National Science and Technology Progress Award in 2016. Our ongoing projects include NSFC National Major Scientific Research Instrument Project and NSFC projects which provides strong financial support in fundamental research.

Postdocs may involve in the researches like (but not limited to):

Light field imaging

Scattering imaging

Imaging theory

High-dimensional signal processing and compression

 

Profile:

Ph D in Optical Engineering, Information Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronic Engineering with strong experiences in optical design and optimization, computational photography or signal processing. Mature logic of scientific research and professional ability to write in English are required. The candidate should be highly responsible and enjoy working in a group. The candidate is expected to independently lead and execute the research projects.
