We are seeking to recruit 3 Lecturers / Senior Lecturers (equivalent to
Assistant / Associate Professor) to expand our growing excellence in
research and teaching in Psychology.

The Department of Psychology at Edge Hill University is situated in the
North-West of England and has a vibrant research culture, having had 22% of
its research outputs rated as world leading in REF2014. At the same time
the Department has been committed to delivering high quality teaching and
this is reflected in high student satisfaction rates (currently ranked in
top 20 in UK National Student Survey 2018 for both Academic Support and
Assessment and Feedback).

The Department has excellent, well-supported facilities for undertaking
research in a broad range of areas, including EEG, TMS, tDCS, NIRS, VR,
behavioural testing suites, social and infant observation labs, a Human
Tissue Authority-compliant lab, and a ‘Bar Lab’ for alcohol research. In
terms of researching vision specifically, we have 3 SR Eyelink 1000 eye
trackers as well as mobile eye-trackers (Tobii). Given our successful
growth in recent years we have now moved into our new £6m Law and
Psychology Building.
