The School of Psychology at the University of Southampton is recruiting two permanent faculty members (Lecturers / Assistant Professors) in perception / cognition.
Post 1: Perception / Cognition (Reference 1134119JW): We welcome applicants from any area of human perception who will complement our existing expertise in visual and multi-sensory perception, attention, search, learning and memory.
Post 2: Perception / Cognition, Learning and Development (Reference 1133719JW): Applications are invited from researchers in any area of perception / cognition, whose work involves human development or learning / education.
Applicants will be able to demonstrate excellence in teaching and research with a growing track record evidenced by publications / grants.

Our extensive research facilities also support immersive virtual reality, eye-tracking, electroencephalography (EEG), neuromodulation / transcranial stimulation, psychophysiology, psychopharmacology and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI).
