[visionlist] Visibility: A gathering of LGBTQ+ vision scientists and friends

Dear colleagues, 

We have organized a new satellite event at this year’s VSS: a social gathering for LGBTQ+ vision scientists and their friends. 

The event is called Visibility. It will take place Tuesday, May 21, 8:30 – 10:00 pm, in the Jasmine/Palm room of the TradeWinds hotel.

Potential causes include the lack of visible role models and the absence of a strong community. This social event is one small step towards filling that gap. All are welcome.
