How Do I Get from the Airport to the TradeWinds Island Resorts? 

Resort Shuttle

Transportation from either Tampa International Airport (TPA) or St. Pete/Clearwater Airport (PIE) directly to the TradeWinds Island Grand or TradeWinds Guy Harvey Resort is available to Vision Sciences Society 2019 meeting participants.

*     Departures: Wednesday, May 22nd and Thursday, May 23rd 

A charge of $25 per person, each way, will be automatically billed to your TradeWinds Resort room account. VSS will be offering the popular Friends and Family Passes again this year. This pass will allow your family and friends to enjoy some of our fun VSS social events. For $50.00, your travel companion can attend the Opening Night Reception and the amazing Demo Night Beach BBQ, as well as enjoy all Coffee/Snack Breaks and the Daily Continental Breakfast! Passes are only $10.00 for each additional family member. 

To purchase a Family & Friends Pass, please visit the VSS Registration desk onsite. Passes will be required for entrance to all social events and meals, including the Friday evening Welcome Reception.

Registration for "Meet the Professors" Has Been Reopened! 

There is still time to sign up for "Meet the Professors." Because there are a few unfilled spots, registration is being reopened. Now in its fourth year, “Meet the Professors” provides an opportunity for an open-ended discussion with members of the VSS Board and other professors. The popular networking event is scheduled for Monday afternoon from 4:30 to 5:45 pm in the Banyan Breezeway. Space is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
