Hi all,

I'm looking for a Thunderbolt 3 to VGA adapter for a Mac Mini that can
provide an analog VGA signal to drive a CRT at 120Hz (or higher). Has
anyone come across one? For this project it is ok to compromise on
resolution (e.g., drive @ 1024x768 or 1280x1024) for a higher, reliable
refresh rate.

I know Thunderbolt 3 supports a native DisplayPort output, so another
alternative is a Thunderbolt 3 -> Displayport -> VGA adapter; however, I
haven't found a DisplayPort to VGA adapter that explicitly states a
supported refresh rate higher than 60Hz.

Another alternative is a HDMI to VGA adapter, but it would need to be an
active digital to analog adapter since the Mac Mini does not provide an
analog signal on its HDMI output.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Best,
-Steve
