[visionlist] BOMG 2019: Call for abstracts

We are pleased to announce that the 28th meeting of the British Ocular Motor Group (BOMG) will be held at Cardiff University on Tuesday, 17th December 2019. The conference will be jointly hosted by the Schools of Optometry & Vision Sciences and Psychology.

The BOMG aims to bring together researchers from different disciplines whose research involves the recording and analysis of eye movements, including (but not limited to) oculomotor research, ophthalmology, optometry, brain imaging, developmental psychology, psychophysics, cognitive decision making, cognitive linguistics, computer science, engineering, etc.

As in previous meetings, the focus will be to showcase the latest results as well as exchange experiences and methods used across different disciplines, especially within vision research.

Our confirmed keynote speaker is:

Dr Chrystalina Antoniades
Nuffield Department of Clinical Neurosciences, University of Oxford
"Using eye movements to understand neurological disorders"

The deadline for submitting abstracts is the 20th November.
