This is a combined meeting of three of Australia's premier organisations for brain and psychological science:

· Australasian Cognitive Neuroscience Society (ACNS, www.acns.org.au<http://www.acns.org.au>)

These organisations represent thriving research communities. Collectively, more than 600 of the leading psychological and brain scientists from across Australasia and internationally attend these meetings annually.
In addition to representing Australasia's leading research institutions and laboratories, the academics who attend these meetings are responsible for educating thousands of undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Brisbane has a unique blend of a thriving inner city, urban villages, parklands and bushlands, exciting bars and dining districts, and remarkable cultural precincts. It allows easy access to some of Australia's best beaches and rainforests, and the unparalleled Great Barrier Reef.
Venue
The conference will take place in the heart of the City of Brisbane, at the Pullman Hotel (www.pullmanbrisbanekgs.com.au). Boasting Brisbane's largest hotel conference facilities, the Pullman is just a few minutes' walk from the city's most popular attractions, outstanding dining venues, the Queen Street Mall shopping and entertainment precincts, and the Southbank Parklands and Cultural Centre (home of the Gallery of Modern Art, one of Australia's major contemporary art museums).
