[visionlist] Post-doc in Brainard/Aguirre labs at UPenn

We are seeking a post-doctoral fellow for a joint research program in the laboratories of Geoffrey Aguirre (https://cfn.upenn.edu/aguirre) and David Brainard (https://color.psych.upenn.edu) at the University of Pennsylvania. This extramurally-funded program of research will examine spatio-spectral contrast sensitivity in humans. The project will involve development of a custom display instrument and collection of psychophysical data.

The ideal applicant will have:
- a PhD in psychology, neuroscience, or a related field, ideally with a focus on visual perception.
- strong quantitative skills, including substantial programming ability and a mathematical background through linear algebra.
- familiarity with optics.

Our laboratories are in the departments of Neurology and Psychology at Penn. The intellectual community includes the Center for Cognitive Neuroscience (http://www.ccn.upenn.edu), the Computational Neuroscience Initiative (http://cni.upenn.edu), and the Center for Functional Neuroimaging (https://cfn.upenn.edu). Full health insurance is provided.
