The New England College of Optometry invites applications for a full-time,
tenure track position in the Department of Biomedical Sciences and Disease.
Applicants must have an OD and/or PhD degree and will be expected to
establish an extramurally funded research program preferably in, but not
limited to, the area of autoimmune eye disease, neurodegenerative retinal
disease, or myopia. The applicant will also be expected to mentor master’s
degree students and teach human head and neck anatomy, a graduate seminar,
and ocular physiology or neuroanatomy. The salary and rank will be
commensurate with the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
The start date for the position is preferably September, 2021. Applicants
should submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, statement of research and
teaching interests, and the names and emails of three professional
references to Dr. Steven Koevary, Department Chair, at koevarys at neco.edu.

considered through May 30, 2021 but the position will remain open until
filled.
