[visionlist] The Skin of Things 2021 - registration is open

Dear Colleagues, 

From 15 to 19 March 2021 we will organise the second edition of The Skin of Things <https://theskinofthings2021.github.io/> - a multidisciplinary gathering centred around the perception and depiction of materials. The subject may sound narrow but the speakers are an eclectic group of scientists, scholars and artists that you rarely meet in one (virtual) room. Therefore, we happily invite you to join the talks and discussions over a series of 5 evenings/nights (Asia/Oceania), afternoons (Europe/Africa) and mornings (Americas). 

Registration
Registration is free of charge and can be via EventBrite <https://www.eventbrite.com/e/the-skin-of-things-ii-tickets-136721115537>. After you registered you will receive access to a Slack channel that we will use to communicate Zoom links etc.

Programme
Each day between 15 to 19 March we will have meetings between 15:00 and 18:00 Central European Time (CET). Luckily, Daylight Saving Time in the US starts earlier than Europe, so there will be a time difference of 5 (east coast) to 7 hours (west coast).
In the three hours we will have plenty of time for discussions, improvisations and perhaps some surprises.
