An NIH-funded post-doctoral position is available in the Carlisle Attention
and Memory (CAM) lab of Dr. Nancy Carlisle at Lehigh University in
Bethlehem, PA.

The lab focuses on questions related to the control of visual attention and
the interaction of memory and attention. This position will focus on the
topic of attentional suppression.  The work will involve a combination of
behavioral, eye tracking, and EEG studies, with the possible incorporation
of cognitive modelling. General information about the lab can be found

Applicants should have a PhD in a relevant field (Psychology, Neuroscience,
or Computer Science) and strong interests in this area of attention. Prior
experience with EEG and/or computational methods are highly desirable, and
strong programming skills (Matlab, Python, etc.) are required.


The position is available beginning around September 2021, but exact
start date is negotiable. The position will initially be for one year, with
the possibility of renewal based on satisfactory performance.


Lehigh University is a private research university with a picturesque
campus in Bethlehem, PA (https://www1.lehigh.edu/about). The Lehigh Valley
is known for beautiful parks and many festivals, and both Philadelphia and
New York a two hour drive away.
