The Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) seeks a visionary and dynamic
leader to serve as the Director of the Chester F. Carlson Center for
Imaging Science (CIS). CIS offers BS, MS, and PhD degrees in imaging
science, and faculty are engaged in a range of research areas, including
machine learning, computer vision, remote sensing, human vision, virtual
reality, optics, and more.
CIS Director appointments are five-year renewable terms. The position is at
the rank of tenured full professor.

Deadline for receipt of applications is January 10, 2022. On-campus
interviews are expected to commence in the February-March time frame. It is
expected that the new director will assume the position no later than July
1, 2022.
