Dear friends and colleagues,
We invite you to submit manuscripts for a method collection special issue titled “Experimental and Clinical Methods in Myopia Research” in the Journal of Visualized Experiments (JoVE, https://www.jove.com/methods-collections/1424). JoVE is the first, largest, and one of the very few peer-reviewed scientific video journals. It publishes visualized experiments and is indexed in several major databases, including PubMed, EMBASE, Scopus, and Web of Science. The myopia methods collection special issue in JOVE is aimed at providing a comprehensive overview of experimental and clinical methods in myopia research. To start the submission process, authors can either submit an abstract (https://www.jove.com/methods-collections/submit-an-abstract?collection_id=1424) or a full-text manuscript (https://www.editorialmanager.com/jove/default1.aspx). If the authors submit only an abstract, the Editorial team will first evaluate the relevance of the abstract to the special issue and then invite the authors to submit a full-text manuscript, which will undergo a peer-review process. Upon acceptance of the manuscript, the journal production team will generate a script, schedule a filming date within 4-8 weeks, and send a videographer to the authors’ site to film the procedure. For more details on the publication process, please visit https://www.jove.com/authors/publication
We hope you will consider contributing to this special issue in JoVE and look forward to receiving your submissions. Please feel free to extend this invitation to your friends and colleagues who may be interested in this special issue.
Best Regards,
