First announcement and call for papers

Dear friends and colleagues,

The 38th meeting of the International Society for Psychophysics (ISP) 
will be held in Lund, Sweden, 23rd to 26th of August, 2022 (on-site). 
You are invited to join us in Lund, a beautiful city in southern Sweden, 
for Fechner Day 2022.

Venue <

The conference will be held in Palaestra et Odeum, Lund University. 
Palaestra is located in the heart of Lund within easy (5 minutes) 
walking distance of the city centre. Numerous hotels are available in 
the area, fitting all wishes and budgets, from luxury to economy.

Getting to Lund <

Lund is well situated in terms of international travel links. The 
closest international airport is Copenhagen Airport in Kastrup, Denmark. 
The journey time by train from the airport to Lund is about 35 minutes. 
The journey takes you over the Öresund Bridge connecting Denmark to Sweden.

Registration and Society Membership <

Registration will open in March <

(until May 4th, 2022) fees will be SEK 3700 for full rates, and SEK 3900 
thereafter. Student rates are SEK 3500.

Please note that delegates must be members of the ISP, with membership

Call for papers <

Authors are invited to submit papers and propose theme sessions on 
topics including, but not limited to:

Sensory processes
Perception of space and time
Crossmodal processing
Psychophysical methods
Mathematical and computational models
Animal psychophysics
History and philosophy of psychophysics
Cognitive factors in psychophysics (e.g. memory, attention)
Practical applications

Special events <

We will begin with a welcome reception on Monday Evening, August 22nd, 
and continue with the conference from Tuesday morning, August 23. The 
Gala Dinner will take place on Thursday evening, August 25th.
