[visionlist] Opening for a Master's student at McGill Vision Research, Montreal

There is an opening for a funded Master’s student in Fred Kingdom’s laboratory in the McGill Vision Research unit in Montreal starting January 2023.  The proposed research project will involve the use of psychophysical methods and image processing to explore the role of different types of local edge feature in natural scene recognition.  Applicants will hopefully have some background in visual neuroscience as well as computer and/or related technical skills.
