*Assistant Professor of Psychology *

LEHIGH UNIVERSITY. The Department of Psychology invites applications for a
tenure-track position as Assistant Professor of Psychology, with a
specialization in Cognitive Psychology, beginning in Fall 2023. We welcome
all applicants with research interests that complement and expand ongoing
work in cognitive psychology and cognitive neuroscience at Lehigh.
Candidates should have an earned doctorate (or be in candidacy with degree
expected no later the date of hire).

We are particularly excited about candidates doing use-inspired basic
research that takes inspiration from complex real-world problems to test
and refine theories of human cognition and that applies laboratory findings
to the solution of practical problems. We welcome qualified candidates who
can contribute, through their research, teaching, and service, to the
diversity and excellence of the academic community. Candidates will be
expected to maintain a high-quality and productive research program that
will attract external funding; to provide high-quality teaching and
research mentorship at both the undergraduate and graduate level; and to
demonstrate a strong commitment to creating an inclusive environment and
promoting the success of students from racial and ethnic groups that have
been traditionally underrepresented in academia.
