Dear Visionlist,


We on the Optica Fall Vision Meeting Program Committee are excited to see
many of you next week in person in Rochester. Local organizers told us this
morning that the leaves are starting to turn and they’re warming up the
beverages! Below are some last minute details and orders of business.


First, we are very pleased to announce two special events for students and
postdoctoral scholars, sponsored and organized by Optica

   On Thursday, October 20, the meeting will host an Optics and Vision
   Paired Networking Event

   where trainees will have a chance to meet other trainees and mentors for

It is a great help to us and the local organizers to have registrations as
early as possible.  Fees are $200 for postdocs and students, $375 for
others, and $200 for one-day passes. There is an additional $75 fee for the
