  Dear colleagues,

We have recently obtained in-principle acceptance for a replication of
Eimer (1996; Experiment 2)'s influential N2pc study
(https://doi.org/dk5b9z) within the scope of #EEGManyLabs. If you are
new to the #EEGManyLabs project, please visit here for more info:
https://osf.io/yb3pq/, and here for the position paper:
https://doi.org/10.1016/j.cortex.2021.03.013.

So far, 7 labs have volunteered to contribute a full dataset
consisting of data from 28 participants each, which means that we will
have /n/ = 7 independent replications of the original study. This is
sufficient for the main purpose of the project, but increasing that
number would be interesting for additional explorative analyses on the
then publicly available data set. If you and your colleagues are
interested to become co-authors on this paper and on the #EEGManyLabs
concluding paper (both to be published in /Cortex/), please get in
touch with us. We have already prepared the experimental program with
OpenSesame and we will handle data analysis. Thus, you mainly need to
have the resources to contribute a full dataset collected from 28
participants in a brief EEG session (~1h) until May 18th 2024. For
further details on the project, please see https://osf.io/4ux8r/ and
https://rr.peercommunityin.org/articles/rec?id=411 (Registered Report).

Kind regards,
Martin Constant (martin.constant at unige.ch) and Heinrich Liesefeld
