Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Associate position to
work on NEI-funded projects that use electrophysiological, psychophysical,
and imaging techniques to investigate the pathophysiology of retinal
disease. The position is a joint appointment in the laboratories of Drs.
Robert Hyde and Jason McAnany.

Preference will be given to applicants with experience in animal handling
(procedures with rodents, breeding, genotyping), mouse electrophysiology
(ERG/VEP), and computational modeling. Additionally, there is ample
opportunity to gain experience in clinical studies with human subjects.
Programming experience with Matlab and good writing skills are desirable.

The start date is flexible and salary will follow the NIH postdoctoral
scale. The initial appointment will be for one year, with continuation
based funding availability.

The Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences has an active group of
scientists interested in basic, clinical, and translational research. There
are opportunities for interaction through departmental seminars and
collaborative research projects.
