Postdoctoral position available at Dartmouth College (Viola Stoermer)

A postdoctoral position is available in the Perception, Attention & Memory Lab of Dr. Viola Störmer (https://sites.dartmouth.edu/stoermerlab/) at Dartmouth College. Initial appointment is for one year, with flexible start date and opportunity for renewal.

The BrainStörmer lab’s research aims to understand the cognitive and neural processes involved in human perception, selective attention, and working memory.

We are seeking highly qualified individuals with a recent or soon-to-be-acquired Ph.D. in a relevant field (e.g. Psychology, Neuroscience, Cognitive Science, Computer Science), strong quantitative and technical skills, and interests in perceptual cognition, selective attention, and/or memory. Proficiency in programming is necessary (e.g., Matlab, Python, Javascript, or R).Ideal postdoctoral scholars would have experience with psychophysical research AND either EEG, fMRI, or computational modeling techniques, and are familiar with topics on selective attention and/or visual working memory.

We are looking for the postdoc to begin early or mid-2024, though later start dates will also be considered.
