[visionlist] [Postdoc opportunity]: Postdoc in Bologna

Dear all,

I'd like to advertise an upcoming postdoc position within the context of a
research project financed by the Italian Ministry of University and
Research. The project is a collaboration between myself at the University
of Bologna and Marco Bertamini, Gianluca Campana and Luca Battaglini at the
University of Padua.

The research project is related to the integration of central and
peripheral vision, with a specific stress on scene representation and
metaperception (see https://doi.org/10.1167/jov.21.6.2 for a related
publication).

The duration of the contract is 18 months and the monthly wage (after
taxes, and with healthcare universally covered) is 1900 euros.

Deadline for application is January 7th, and the candidate is expected to
start working no later than April 1st 2024.

The university of Bologna is a vibrant scientific community with over
90.000 students and the Department of Psychology being a Department of
Excellence recognized by the Ministry of University and Research. Bologna
was ranked as the Italian city with the highest quality of life in 2022.
