[visionlist] Exciting Opportunity: PhD Position in Deep Learning for Nanoscale Image Analysis at UMG Göttingen

Join our team led by Prof. Rizzoli and Dr. Shaib to develop deep learning
algorithms and generative models for high resolution microscopy images. Our
cutting-edge ONE Microscopy was featured in Nature Portfolio's "Seven
Technologies to Watch in 2024" (
https://www.nature.com/articles/d41586-024-00173-x) and currently, we are
looking for passionate researchers to explore new horizons with us.

This position is part of BE-LIGHT, a prestigious MSCA doctoral network,
offering top-level training and collaboration with leading experts across
Europe with the aim of improving human diagnosis through optical microscopy
and Artificial Intelligence (AI). If you know someone with a background in
AI, computer science, or related fields who is eager to make a difference

Important Details
Position: PhD Researcher
Location: University of Göttingen, Germany
Research Focus: Developing AI algorithms for diagnostic procedures using
high-resolution imaging of human specimens.

Requirements:
1) Strong programming skills in Python and especially with PyTorch
2) Practical experience in advanced computer vision and deep learning
applications
3) Knowledge of MATLAB, C/C++ and fluorescence imaging is beneficial but
not mandatory

Minimum Qualification: Master’s Degree
